Shamanic tools
Ert offers a unique and deeply personal service: crafting shamanic drums, rattles, and sacred tools tailored specifically to each client. He believes that a sacred tool is more than an object; it is a living extension of the spirit, uniquely aligned with the individual who wields it. Through a collaborative process, Ert helps you uncover what truly resonates with your energy and intention, guiding the design of a tool that aligns deeply with your journey.
Each creation begins with a conversation, where Ert listens to your story, explores your needs, and helps clarify the purpose of the tool. From there, he selects only natural materials—wood, leather, stones, and other elements of the Earth—to ensure that each piece is grounded in authenticity and harmony with nature. Throughout the crafting process, Ert connects to the intention behind the tool, infusing it with energy and purpose to empower it as a sacred companion in your practice.
Ert’s work gives physical form to another dimension of Casa Ayni: the relationship between craftsmanship, intention, symbolic meaning and ancestral knowledge.
Each piece emerges through a process in which material, purpose and the hands that shape it are in relationship.
Sacred tools, created for your unique path
A shamanic tool can be much more than an object. It can become a companion in your practice: A bridge between intention, nature, creativity and the unseen.
Ert creates handcrafted shamanic drums, rattles and other sacred tools in close collaboration with the person they are made for. Rather than simply choosing an object, you enter into a creative process together: exploring what the tool is for, what it should embody, and which materials, symbols and elements resonate with you.
Each piece is individually made from carefully selected natural materials and carries its own character, story and intention.
A tool made with you, not simply for you
The process begins with a conversation.
Ert takes time to understand your intention, your practice and what is calling you. Together, you explore the form of the tool, its materials, symbols and personal details.
From there, Ert brings the piece into being by hand.
This means that no two creations are exactly alike. The result is not intended as a mass-produced spiritual object, but as something personal—a tool that can accompany your ceremonies, meditation, healing work or individual spiritual practice.
Ert handcrafts shamanic drums using Palo Santo wood frames and goat rawhide. The visual design is developed together with you and can reflect a symbol, inner image, personal journey or spiritual intention.
The drum becomes both a musical instrument and a ceremonial companion, carrying its own individual voice and rhythm.
Each rattle is individually created from natural materials and inspired by the four elements.
Pearls represent Water, gemstones Earth, opal or incense Fire, while scent and movement evoke Air.
The result is a deeply personal ceremonial object that brings sound, movement, symbolism and the elements together.
Tools of intention, separation and medicine.
Ert creates ceremonial knives with hand-knapped obsidian blades and individually crafted wooden handles. The type of obsidian, the wood and the design are chosen according to the character and intention of each piece.
In ritual work, the knife can serve as a symbolic tool for cutting what no longer belongs, releasing attachments and creating space for something new.
The knife also has another purpose. Its non-metal blade can be used when working with healing plants, for cutting herbs and stems that will become medicine.
To cut what needs to be released.
To cut what will become medicine.
Each knife is individually created and can be further personalised through the choice of materials, symbols and details. A stand, box or case can be added according to your wishes.
Handcrafted from carefully selected feathers and natural materials, Ert’s smudging fans are created to accompany cleansing and ceremonial practices.
They can be used to guide the smoke of Palo Santo, sage, incense and other ceremonial materials, bringing the element of air consciously into the ritual.
Not every sacred tool fits into a category.
Ert also creates individual medicine boxes, ceremonial stands, shamanic ornaments and other custom pieces according to the needs and inspiration of the person he is working with.
If you carry an idea for a tool but do not yet know exactly what it should become, that can be the beginning of the process.
How does it work?
You do not need to arrive with a finished design.
You can begin with an intention, an image, a feeling, or simply the sense that you would like a particular tool to accompany you.
In a first conversation with Ert, you explore what you are looking for and whether creating something together feels right. From there, the materials, symbolism and design can gradually take shape.
